How to Make Russian Salad: Herring Under Coat


I hope you (all those who will prepare and eat this) will appreciate this simple, delicate, substantial and tasty dish))
You'll need:
150 gr of salted herring
1 small clove of onion
boiled vegetables: 
2 big potatoes
1 middle beetroot
1 carrot
4 boiled eggs
and mayonnaise sauce.
Salad is done in layers, and the 1st one is herring cut into pieces about 1 cm long. Then comes, everything cut into small cubes, - onion, 1st potato, mayonnaise, beetroot, carrot, 2nd potato, again mayonnaise and all eggs as a cover. Eggs should be grated on a grater or just cut thinner than vegetables. Don't press this upper layer to others, it should be fluffy. ^_^
All in all, the process is much easier and quicker if you've got a blender... ^_^
